Endoillumination…Our Photon™ xenon light source quickly became the industry gold standard following its introduction in 2004, and is now also available with a more advanced mercury vapor lamp. Synergetics’ unique MicroFiber™ technologies facilitate the broadest, highest quality and most innovative line of endoillumination products, including our 27-gauge chandeliers, illuminated infusion cannulas, and illuminated directional laser probes. We carefully engineer light and fiber integration to provide the brightest yet safest endoillumination system available. Synergetics has yet to receive a single report of phototoxicity, common with competitive systems.
Laser Photocoagulation…
Our Vitra™ and Supra™ lasers are the most precise, reliable and user-friendly lasers available for operating room and office use. The new 3-watt Supra offers dual laser ports and dual wavelength capabilities, also making it valuable for surgical disciplines beyond ophthalmology. We’ve pioneered several exciting new features, including standby-to-treatment foot pedal control, aiming beam intensity control, and preference setting storage for up to 60 surgeons. Both lasers seamlessly integrate with our Photon light sources and common LIO’s to facilitate integrated illumination and laser delivery applications for improved safety, cost and user efficiency. We offer many creative and flexible procurement options to assist customers with budget restrictions. Our customers often prefer to make modest disposable volume commitments to maintain the latest technology, eliminate down time and repair costs, while protecting their capital budgets.
